The program crashed roughly seven times alone on that file transfer and would also crash for my own file transfers. I was using it to transfer a large amount of data from someone's old computer to their new one, and used a USB to SATA adapter. I've used this before, specifically the first few 2.X builds. I guess that's my fault, I miswrote what I meant. Teracopy will continue and will show which file(s) were missed. The problem with explorer copy is you can't automatically rename files as its copying and the other is if the copy is interrupted or can't be completed it will stop the entire operation. It handles copies more reliably - 'file in use', can't copy x file errors are all gone. I've been using the 1.x and 2.x builds for last 6-8 months for large copys and as copy handler replacement for Win Explorer.
